KARMA IS A DISH BEST SERVED COLD, UNLESS IT'S THE KARMA AMARIS - THIS THING IS FLAMING HOT!

Karma Automotive, the California-based luxury EV maker, has pulled the wraps off its latest creation: the Amaris. This sleek two-door coupe marks a bold new chapter for the brand, combining high-performance electrification with timeless design. Set to enter production in Q4 of 2026, the Amaris boasts a next-generation Extended-Range Electric Vehicle (EREV) powertrain, a striking evolution of the company’s signature Comet Line design language, and the kind of exclusivity that puts it firmly in the ultra-luxury bracket. Karma has long championed EREV technology, and the Amaris takes this philosophy to the next level. Under the sculpted carbon fiber and aluminum bodywork sits a turbocharged 4-cylinder ICE generator, working in tandem with a powerful electric motor setup. This hybrid approach allows for an estimated 0-60 mph time of under 3.5 seconds, a top speed of 265 km/h, and the convenience of refueling with either gasoline or electricity. The Amaris isn’t just about straight-line speed; its advanced aerodynamics - including an aero pass-through spoiler and a wide, aggressive rear track - ensure stability at high speeds, making it as composed as it is quick. Building upon the bold styling of the Karma Kaveya super-coupe, the Amaris refines and enhances the brand’s signature design elements. The Comet Line - a striking contour that arcs from the hood to the rear - adds to the coupe’s sense of motion, even when stationary. Massive 22-inch Constellation forged aluminum wheels, a clamshell hood with Karma’s Target Lighting signature, and swan doors that elegantly pivot upwards all contribute to its head-turning presence. The rear glass profile, tapering into an aerodynamic spoiler, blends beauty with function, while an Americana-inspired side exhaust hints at the car’s raw performance potential.

While the Amaris is grabbing the spotlight, Karma has also made a significant strategic pivot with its upcoming four-door Gyesera. Originally intended to debut as a full EV, the Gyesera will now feature an EREV powertrain when it launches later this year, aligning with shifting market demand in the luxury sector. Meanwhile, the highly anticipated Karma Kaveya super-coupe, which promises up to 1,000 hp and dramatic butterfly doors, has been pushed to a 2027 release. For those unfamiliar with Karma Automotive, the brand has quietly carved out a niche in the ultra-luxury EV space. Born from the remnants of Fisker Automotive, Karma has reinvented itself as a forward-thinking automaker specializing in high-performance, extended-range electric vehicles. Its state-of-the-art production facility - the Karma Innovation and Customization Center in Moreno Valley, California - serves as the nerve center for its growing lineup. With a dealer network spanning North America, Europe, South America, and the Middle East, Karma is steadily making a name for itself among discerning enthusiasts who crave luxury without compromise. With the Amaris, Karma Automotive isn’t just building another high-end EV - it’s making a statement. Blending beauty, power, and the practical benefits of EREV technology, the Amaris is shaping up to be a compelling alternative to traditional all-electric super GTs. Expect more details, including pricing and final specs, as the coupe inches closer to its 2026 production debut.
