LAMBORGHINI'S WASTE IS EVEN COOL - TURNS INTO SIX GIANT SUPER ROBOTS!

Lamborghini has taken its obsession with performance, precision, and pure drama to an entirely new arena - and this time, it’s got mecha muscles. In a wild fusion of supercar engineering and anime-inspired artistry, Lamborghini teamed up with SCART, the creative arm of Italy’s Hera Group, to unleash six towering super robots at Lucca Comics & Games 2025 - all built entirely from discarded materials straight off the production lines of Sant’Agata Bolognese. These 4-metre-tall mechanical guardians are built from bonnets, bumpers, seats, spoilers, and carbon-fibre panels that once belonged to Lamborghinis. Now, reimagined through the eyes of comic-book artists and design students, they’ve been reborn as futuristic defenders of the planet - proving that performance and responsibility can share the same DNA. The six super robots are split into three elemental pairs, each representing the planet’s core forces - Earth, Air, and Water - and each stationed across Lucca’s most iconic squares.

Gea Stone and Jotun Forge, standing tall beside the electrified Lamborghini Revuelto in Piazza San Giusto, channel the strength of the Earth - forged from metal and carbon to purify and regenerate the ground beneath them.

Skyrenn and Jetron, protectors of the Air, rise in Piazza San Michele with wings and turbine-like forms that evoke speed, flight, and purification.

Marixx and Mega Tide, guardians of the Water, emerge in the courtyard of Palazzo Guinigi - amphibious shapes that seem ready to dive into the seas they’ve sworn to cleanse.

Each sculpture mixes pop culture energy with eco-conscious design, blurring the line between industrial scrap and cinematic fantasy.

The concept art for the robots was created by Giuseppe Camuncoli, one of Marvel’s most respected illustrators, alongside designer Giacomo Gheduzzi. Their vision was brought to life by SCART and the students of Italy’s top design schools - the Academies of Fine Arts of Florence and Ravenna, and POLI.design at the Polytechnic University of Milan. The result is a collision of craftsmanship and imagination that feels like a Lamborghini Revuelto drove headlong into a ‘90s Japanese anime. Each piece has its own identity, built from materials chosen to reflect its mission and personality - because even recycled Lamborghinis need character.

“Lamborghini represents an idea of excellence and innovation that goes beyond the automobile,” said Christian Mastro, Lamborghini’s Marketing Director. “Giving new life to waste materials extends the culture of quality beyond the finished car. Seeing those same components reborn as art proves that design, technology, and creativity can coexist in a virtuous way.”

That philosophy is shared by Maurizio Giani of the Hera Group, who sees SCART not just as an art lab but a social movement. “Through art, we can influence mass culture - encouraging a more conscious use of resources. This collaboration shows that circularity and creativity can work hand-in-hand to create something that inspires both business and community.”

After their debut at Lucca Comics & Games, the six metallic guardians hit the road to attend a series of Lamborghini events in 2026 with a mission to spread a message of regeneration, innovation, and artistic rebellion - all wrapped in the unmistakable style of Sant’Agata’s raging bull.
