LIVE DRIVER REACTIONS TO ROMAIN GROSJEAN'S F1 CRASH IN BAHRAIN

During the first lap of the 2020 Bahrain F1 Grand Prix, Romain Grosjean made tyre contact with Daniil Kvyat, which sent Grosjean flying into the barriers at a deadly speed. On impact, his car split in two and burst into a huge fireball. Instantly, the whole race came to a screeching halt!
A few breathless moments later, Romain Grosjean was spotted climbing out of the fireball and over the rail with help from the medical team. Fortunately, Romain Grosjean only suffered minor injuries.
Walking away from a crash like that would have been unheard of a few years ago, but thankfully safety features such as the halo proved to be life-saving.
