MAN STOPS ELDERLY LADY DRIVING WRONG WAY

Good Samaritan speeds down the wrong way of the road to rescue an old lady doing the same.

If there’s one situation that can definitely make you curl up on the inside, it would be the happening that occurs every once in a while when we see an older person disoriented going the wrong way on the highway. These instances seem to be few and far between but when they do occur, you really can’t help but feel for everyone who gets involved here. The disorientation for these folks has to be quite the whirlwind of emotions and there’s a very good chance that a situation like this could be deadly.

This time, though, we check out such an incident in a news report that tells of a good Samaritan who saw something like this happening as a 94-year-old woman would end up barrelling down the highway in the wrong direction. As he was the closest to the incident, instead of immediately dialling 911, he decided that he would hop to action himself, trying to bring this car piloted by the old woman to a stop as to prevent any possible injury to her and all the other motorists on the road.

He later admitted that going the wrong way down the highway to try and stop an incident like this might have not been the safest answer to this equation, but you have to remember that in this heat of the moment, this guy just wanted to do the right thing and we definitely have to give him a “hats off” for that. It definitely shows a rather sizable amount of bravery and selflessness.
