MANSORY'S NEW TWINS - THE 2025 G63 AMG-BASED GRONOS AND GRANDE ENTRéE.
Here at SXdrv, we do quite like over-the-top builds, not all of them, but those created by MANSORY do make us smile more than most. Probably because the creations that are over-the-top are done with a fit and finish better than what the automakers do themselves. It’s part of the reason that we have a bit of a fanboi session whenever we see new content from the world-famous German tuning house that goes by the name of MANSORY. This legendary aftermarket tuner is known for delivering top-tier upgrade packages, especially for modern machines from their homeland, but they do have an extensive portfolio of various Mercedes-AMG models they’ve tinkered with too. When they get their hands on a car, it’s a full spectrum of possibilities, from subtle tweaks to an all-out transformation, and this latest creation most definitely falls into the latter. With a brand new 2025 edition of the popular Mercedes-AMG G 63 AMG as the base, and with AMG clientele being notoriously boring when compared to other exclusive car owners, there was plenty of room to play with the car. The G-Wagon is already a pretty good-looking slice of German machinery, but to the designers at MANSORY, it was an opportunity to do all the things to make one stand out from the rest and in this case, the end result is one of those total vehicle conversions that borders insanity, but we like that. They created two different packages for the G-Class, the Gronos and the Grande Entrée, and what you see here is the latter because we like that rear door. As expected, it’s going to be a limited-edition affair with just 8 units of each package available.
MANSORY’s latest conversion for the G-Class redefines over-the-top aesthetics and performance, with a redesign spanning every facet of the iconic model. Every carbon component of the updated body kits have been reimagined and highlights include new full carbon bonnets featuring integrated, rerouted air intakes, a fresh lighting arrangement for the front aprons, and an updated roof lamp configuration. The enhancements extend to bold new wheel arches, adorned with an integrated MANSORY logo, while the “Gronos” variant adds an illuminated MANSORY logo on its redesigned spare wheel cover. One standout addition is the massive 24-inch FC.5 that debuted on the MANSORY Pugnator we showed y’all not too long ago. These one-piece, ultra-light forged wheels look properly impressive on the fettled G-Class. Inside, MANSORY’s renowned interior craftsmanship remains unchanged, featuring all the bespoke options enthusiasts have come to expect. There’s a new addition in the form of a full-carbon sports pedal set, complete with MANSORY logos, further blending functionality with elegance. Under the hood, the 4.0-litre V8 engine receives significant upgrades, including larger turbochargers, newly programmed engine electronics, and a high-performance exhaust system with bigger downpipes. The result is a healthy 603 kW (820 hp), up from the factory 430 kW and the torque rises from 850 Nm to a mahoosive 1,150 Nm. This enhanced powertrain rockets both the "Gronos" and "Grande Entrée" models from 0 - 100 km/h in a mere 4.0 seconds, which is honestly too fast for these things.
Take a look at the YouTube video from ORG Cars as they do a walkaround of the monstrous MANSORY twins, well at least one of them in the form of the bonkers Gronos: 2024 Mercedes-AMG G 63 Coupe - New Excellent Project by MANSORY | ORGCars
