MERCEDES-BENS RELEASES RECORD-BREAKING RANGE FIGURES FOR THE EQS EV
Check out the insane electric range figures of the Mercedes-Benz EQS.
Mercedes has set a new standard for what is possible in terms of range with their brand new Mercedes-Benz EQS electric vehicle.
Mercedes-Benz has released the official range of the new EQS, which is a staggering 770 kilometres (479 miles) – 70 kilometres more than what was predicted.
This is not only thanks to the highly efficient 108 kWh battery pack that comes with the Mercedes EQS but, rather, a combination of the battery pack and the vehicle's cleverly designed drag coefficient rating of Cd 0.20. To put the latter into perspective, a Tesla Model S has a drag coefficient of Cd 0.28.
The Mercedes-Benz EQS will be available in 2022, and will be the flagship model of the Mercedes-Benz EV class.
The EQS produces 469hp and 560 lb-ft of torque, and will accelerate from 0-60 in 4.5 seconds.
