NEW AUDI A1 QUATTRO WRC RALLY CAR

Here is the brand new Audi A1 Quattro WRC Rally Car.

The former World RX champion driver and team owner of EKS, Mattias Ekstrom, has just announced a huge collaboration project with World RX team, JC Racetecnik. What they have been working on is a machine to absolutely dominate the World Rally Championship, a special build Audi A1 Quattro WRC rally car.

Their new Audi A1 Quattro WRC rally car will feature a 1.6-litre engine that produces a generous 263 horsepower, sent to all four wheels through a modified version of Audi's Quattro AWD system. The Audi A1 WRC Quattro is also fitted with a 5-speed sequential gearbox, with gear ratios suited for the WRC and supplied by the French firm ORECA.

The new Audi A1 is the perfect hot hatchback and, as soon as Mattias Ekstrom laid eyes on it, he knew he had to convert one into his rally car – and he did exactly that!
