NEW RETRO-INSPIRED DBR1 ASTON MARTIN V12 SPEEDSTER

The extremely limited run of the new Aston Martin V12 Speedster pays tribute to the 1959 24 Hours of Le Mans winner, with no other than the one and only Carroll Shelby and friend, Roy Salvadori, at the wheel.

The Aston Martin DBR1 spec V12 Speedster will be available in the iconic retro green, which is the same colour featured on the original Speedster racecar, as well as on the 2021 F1 Aston Martin safety cars.

The DBR1 Speedster features a 5.2 litre twin-turbo V12 that produces 690hp and 753 Nm of torque, and is equipped with an eight-speed automatic gearbox sending its power to the rear wheels where you'll find a limited-slip differential. The V12 Speedster has a 0-60mph time of 3.4 seconds, and a top speed of 198mph.

The most recognisable part of this car is the fact that it doesn't feature a windshield. Rather, each sample comes with two helmets, one for the driver and one for the passenger, and are both painted in the same Aston Martin green as the car itself.
