PORSCHE'S STYLE EDITION MAKEOVER FOR THE 718 TWINS IS LOOKING FRESH.

Porsche’s 718 Cayman and 718 Boxster are twins, one is basically a hardtop and the other an open top and that’s pretty much the only difference between the base entry models. Being an entry-level model doesn’t mean it’s ignored by the powers that be, evident by this latest styling package that we think is rather nice to look at, especially the the one available in Rubystar Neo because it gives a not to one of the coolest porsche colours ever to exist on one of the coolest models ever to exist - the Porsche 911 Carrera RS 964. What’s more, these new colourways for the 718 can be had with the option of a white or black contrast packages that are available at no extra charge, which is rather surprising to learn because there’s usually a hefty charge for any change to the configuration of any Porsche model.

The contrast packages see the choice of having the 20-inch wheels in gloss black, tailpipes in gloss black and well as the Porsche lettering in high-gloss silver as seen on the 718 Spyder here. On this here Boxster, you can see an extra addition of ‘Boxster’ embossed above the side windows, a small bit tasteful addition. The contrast packages include decorative stripes on the luggage compartment lid with "Porsche" decorative lettering on the side, black and white high-gloss paint finishes for the wheels and also the model designations at the rear. In the cabin the Style Editions feature a black leather package with contrasting stitching in chalk and also  illuminated door sill panels in stainless steel and a Porsche Crest on the headrests.
The Porsche 718 Cayman Style Edition and the 718 Boxster Style Edition, features a 6-speed manual transmission as standard, both models are based on the entry model versions and so feature the turbocharged 2.0-litre boxer engine with 220 kW and 380 Nm of torque mated to a 6-speed manual or optional 7-speed PDK - capable of a 0-100 km/h dash of 5.1-seconds (4.7-seconds with PDK) and both have a top speed of 275 km/h.
