Retractable car shields are put to the test, but are they as good as they say they are?

A retractable car shield is pretty much a large self retractable umbrella for your car. It will protect your pride and joy against harmful UV rays from the sun, as well as from heavy rain and hail. Even if you have to park your ride under a tree, it will protect it from small branches, pinecones and even tree sap.

Basically, the benefits of having and using a retractable car shield are endless, but just how cumbersome or easy are they to use, can they damage your car, and do they protect your car as much as they say they do? YouTuber, Supercar Blondie, puts retractable car shields to the ultimate test. She even goes as far as dropping rocks on them to see if they will protect the car underneath, and in her test, the car is a McLaren!

Take a look at the demonstration video below by YouTube channel, Supercar Blondie, on retractable car shields put to the test, are they as good as they say they are?
