ROLLS ROYCE BOAT TAIL: THE WORLD'S MOST EXPENSIVE CAR

Rolls Royce has revealed their most exclusive coachbuilt car, and by far their most expensive car ever made, with the all-new Rolls Royce Boat Tail.

Judging by the first sample of the Rolls Royce Boat Tail, you might get a sense that it's nothing more than a $36 Million, six metre long picnic basket. But, in order to really appreciate what you're looking at, you have to understand the level of engineering and art that went into its production.

Rolls Royce has been working on the Boat Tail project, very closely with their respective owners, for the last four years. There will only be three samples made, and each one shares the same platform, based on the Phantom and presumably with the same V12 engine. Each Boat Tail is made exclusively to their owner's desires. In the sample you'll see in the video below, this specific owner takes pride in his exclusive watch collection. So, like something out of a Pimp My Ride episode, Rolls Royce has fabricated a watch holder into the dashboard. Also, not to mention, the butterfly opening at the rear of the car, where each owner can choose a custom function specifically designed by Rolls Royce.

In this Boat Tail, the rear features not only champaign flutes, but rather an entire eating station together with pop out carbon fibre trays, foldable chairs, an umbrella as well as a full Christoffe cutlery and crockery set!
