TESLA MODEL S PLAID UNMODIFIED SETS NEW NURBURGRING RECORD FOR EV PRODUCTION CARS

For some bizarre reason, the Nordschleife circuit at the Nurburgring has become the standard for judging production cars performance and has grown a huge cult following as a result.


This time, Tesla gets a few laps in with the all-new Model S Plaid, the one with the yoke steering wheel and to everyone's surprise is has broken all records with its lap time of an incredible 7 minutes and 35.579 seconds around the 20.8 kilometre Nordschleife circuit at the Nurburgring in Germany.


Everyone knows that the Tesla Model S Plaid is one of the fastest accelerating cars in all of existence, but now that it has performed outstandingly well around one of the most challenging timed circuits in the world, we now know it is a fantastic handling car as well.
