THE AWESOME SINGLE-SEATER RADICAL SR3 XXR AND SR10 XXR IN 2025-SPEC IS DOPE!

Radical Motorsport has just dropped some serious upgrades to their track-slaying SR3 XXR and SR10 XXR models for 2025, and the focus is clear: safety, reliability, performance, and personalisation. Decked out in an eye-catching, one-off Daytona Green with matching details, the freshly updated SR10 XXR is a visual statement that’s going to be hard to miss in the paddock. This bold new finish is just the start, as Radical’s Cambridgeshire-based team has left no stone unturned, highlighting every new feature with precision. The 2025 refresh starts with all-new seating choices across the SR3 XXR and SR10 XXR models, focusing on increased safety and comfort. Radical’s in-house R&D team has developed a carbon single seat that is lighter and stronger than its GRP predecessor, thanks to pre-impregnated carbon fibre construction. It also incorporates a wrap-around headrest for added protection, responding to demand from the U.S. market. The seat is available in left, right, or centre-hand drive configurations. If you’re a fan of the twin-seat option for coaching or taking passengers along for a high-speed thrill, don’t worry – Radical hasn’t forgotten about you. The twin-seat variant gets safety upgrades too, including Kevlar inserts and reinforced mounting points. To top it all off, new harnesses offer increased comfort and a splash of personalisation, with four different colour options now available to suit your style. Radical's engineering team continues to refine the SR3 XXR and SR10 XXR, honing reliability without compromising performance. The SR10 XXR, for example, benefits from a newly designed bell housing that significantly reduces the risk of cracks, a feature that was meticulously tested through advanced computer modelling and real-world stress testing. Meanwhile, the front splitter on the SR10 XXR has undergone an overhaul, using aerospace-grade epoxy resin and updated production techniques. The result is a component that fits better, lasts longer and takes more punishment out on the track.

Radical’s updates don’t stop with reliability—2025 brings new aerodynamic tweaks that shave off crucial milliseconds from lap times. A subtle change to the SR10 XXR’s side pods shifts the balance 2.5% towards the front axle, but when you’re flying around corners at 160 mph, that translates to a staggering 11.5% increase in frontal load. The result? A sharp reduction in understeer and tyre wear, letting you push harder through high-speed corners. Radical’s engineers have also fine-tuned the steering. With the new 1:71:1 steering rack ratio, drivers will find less effort is needed to navigate tight corners, reducing fatigue and improving comfort during long stints on the track. Meanwhile, a new lightweight flywheel and clutch provide faster throttle response and smoother downshifts, shortening braking zones and reducing rear axle lock-up. Radical is giving drivers even more ways to make their track weapons one-of-a-kind. Beyond the bold new bodywork colours like the Daytona Green showcased here, customers can now spec lightweight Braid wheels that can be custom-painted to complement the car’s livery. Inside, personalised harnesses and custom-designed liveries are available, ensuring each Radical leaves the factory looking as unique as its driver. Before being shipped to one of over 20 countries through Radical’s extensive dealer network, each car gets the VIP treatment with a photoshoot to capture its unique finish. With these MY25 updates, Radical Motorsport has sharpened both the SR3 XXR and SR10 XXR to maintain their position as the world’s best-selling purpose-built race cars. The upgrades enhance every aspect of the ownership experience, whether you're focused on personalising your ride or chasing the clock on track. With seasons wrapping up for many Radical Cup championships worldwide, now’s the perfect time to order a new car and start preparing for 2025. For those gearing up for winter championships, the option to upgrade is available right now. Radical's latest evolution is more than just an update - it’s a scalpel in the hands of drivers who demand precision, performance, and individuality and it looks pretty damn epic too!
