Plasti Dip has been a very appealing alternative to respraying your car or even vinyl wrapping it, but the downside was that Plasti Dip has a reputation of being quite a matte finish. But, that is just a myth. There are so many different finishes, textures and colours to choose from, and even customised mixtures of colours can be created and shipped to anyone.
The guys at Dip Your Car released a video tutorial on their YouTube channel on how to get the most gloss Plati Dip finish possible. Their approach was to first dip the car in a basic undertone layer and then excessively stack multiple pearl top coats on top of that, and then finally a few wet coats on top of the pearl layers until they get their desired effect.
