THE HYPERION XP-1 TAKES TO THE STREETS

The Hydrogen cell-powered hypercar, the Hyperion XP-1, takes to the streets of Las Vegas.

You might have recalled seeing this insane beast of a car on your feed when we scribbled about it when it was purely a concept car. But time has moved on, and now the Hyperion XP-1 is officially driving on the streets of Las Vegas.

They Hyperion XP-1 is like no other as it aims to compete with electric cars. However, it can be refuelled – not with regular gas but rather by Hydrogen! And not only does it work, it rockets!

The Hydrogen powered Hyperion XP-1 features over 2,000hp and a 0-60mph neck-breaking time of just 2.2 seconds! But, arguably, the most impressive feature of this car is it reveals to the world at just how economical hydrogen is. This is a hypercar first of all, and has a claimed driving range of 1,000 miles before the tank runs out! Neither electric or fuel-powered cars can come close to that, and the only by-product is a few drops of water.
