Each and every manufacturing industry is constantly trying to come up with the next best gadget or accessory and once in a while a product really takes off globally, but what happens to all those failed products? Well, they are sold anyway and those poor soles who end up buying them soon realise they just completely wasted their money!

The car industry is no different. There are hundreds of car products you can buy on Amazon that, quite frankly, don't work even remotely as they were intended or even advertised to do.

In the video below, some of the worst car products you can buy on Amazon were put to the test to see how well they actually work.

For example, an in-car trash can sounds like a fantastic idea until you realise that you first of all have to sacrifice a cupholder to store it and that it doesn't even fit soda cans inside which is the kind of trash that is most common in cars! Why not just take a plastic shopping bag with you and dispose of it once it's full at the end of your day?
