Here is a list of the worst cheap cars that are so tempting to buy due to their price but in return will completely ruin you financially!

We have all been there, you know, when you have nothing better to do to pass the time so you hop onto Auto Trader and have a look at what you can't afford to buy...

However, you sometimes stumble on what looks like an incredible deal. A super luxury car with amazing performance, low mileage, good year and both the body and interior is in mint condition and on top of that the price is borderline too good to be true!

Well, you have probably just found yourself a prime example of a luxury car that depreciates drastically over time and there is usually a very good reason for this. The car itself might be perfectly fine, with no issues at all and in great condition, however, where the catch lies is within maintenance costs. If something were to go wrong and it's not a matter of "if" but rather a matter of "when", it is going to consume you financially!

Another thing to keep in mind is that the insurance on these luxury vehicles is going to be expensive as well. Just because it is selling for a "good" price doesn't mean that everything about it will be cheap as well.

Here are some prime examples of cars that will ruin you financially:

  • Mercedes Benz CLA
  • Jaguar XJ
  • BMW M6
  • Tesla Model Y
  • Maserati Ghibli
  • Audi S6
  • Range Rover Sport
