TREKKING TO THE ARCTIC CIRCLE IN A 1970S ROLLS-ROYCE PHANTOM

Are you keen on an armchair adventure to the Arctic Circle in a 48-year-old Rolls-Royce Phantom? Great! Let's hitch a ride with Harry's Garage to see if he can make it.

If you have never seen this YouTube channel before, the best way to describe it would be to say that Harry's Garage is like watching James May without his TopGear buddies getting in the way.

It may seem ludicrous to drive a vintage Rolls-Royce all the way to the Arctic Circle in Norway, chasing the Northern Lights, but it's not the first time he's done a crazy road trip. Previously, he's taken a Ferrari Testarossa into the Sahara desert, so Harry is definitely up for it.

The question is, will a 1970s Rolls-Royce Phantom that he bought off eBay for 4100 pounds be up for it? Harry wondered that too, so he sent the Rolls to a specialist for a once-over – oh, and chucked on some snow tyres.

If you're looking for something that is going to get your heart racing, then Harry might be a tad timid for you. But, if you like facts and stats, not to mention great footage of glorious landscapes, then clicking the button on the video below will put a smile on your dial.
