VALENTINO BALBONI LAUNCHES NEW 'VB' EXHAUST BRAND FOR LAMBORGHINI

Forty years, that’s how long Valentino Balboni was in charge of the development division of Lamborghini. Grown out to become a living legend, the Lamborghini icon now wants to further share his passion for the Italian supercar brand and has launched his very own brand called ‘VB’.

The Lamborghini legend aims to bring ‘Lamborghini owners and fans an insight into the passion and perfection that has distinguished his career as a test driver for the Raging Bull.’ The unveiling of his very first means to do so will take place during this year’s Monterey car week on August 20th, 2:45 pm local time.

Called a ‘new dimension in sound’, the ex-Lamborghini test driver will unveil a ‘state of the art’, limited edition, ultralight titanium exhaust for the Lamborghini Aventador LP-750 SV. How limited? Well, just 30 examples will be produced, each exhaust system taking about 350 hours to manufacture. The custom exhaust system weighs only 6.3 kg (13.8 lbs) and besides benefitting the performance of the Aventador SV, could also contribute to the uniqueness of the limited production supercar.
