VIDEO: 100 YELLOW CARS SHOW UP IN SUPPORT OF 'UGLY' CORSA

Vauxhall owner Peter Maddox, came under fire earlier in the year as his yellow Corsa rubbed people up the wrong way.

The 84 year old who is a resident of picturesque Bibury, received complaints for parking his car outside his cottage in Arlington Row. Tourists complained that it was 'ruining' the view and earlier this year, the vehicle was vandalised.

In a fantastic show of support, a Kickstarter was set up to help repair the damage to Mr Maddox's car, Vauxhall has renamed one of its colours ‘Maddox Yellow’ and a 100 car convoy was organised in celebration of yellow cars everywhere.

Hundreds of yellow car owners applied to join the drive-through, which had a set limit of 100 cars for safety.

Mr Maddox, who watched the convoy as it drove past his cottage, said he was 'overwhelmed' by the show of support for his yellow car.
