VIDEO: 2017 LAMBORGHINI CENTENARIO & 2017 BUGATTI CHIRON
Two of the most anticipated cars of the year showcased here for your viewing pleasure!
First up is the 2017 Lamborghini Centenario, a limited edition homage to the 100th annaversary of the birth of Ferruccio Lamborghini, the legend who spawned the company as we know it today.
This beast of a vehicle is powered by a 6.5 litre V12 pushing 566kW and 690Nm to all four wheels through its 7-speed ISR gearbox. It cracks 0-100km/h in 2.8 seconds and tops out at over 350km/h.
Considering there will only be 20 coupés and 20 roadsters made best you get on the horn to Lambo to secure yours asap.
Then, the successor to the mighty Veyron, the Chiron has sizeable shoes to fill. Technically introduced in 2016 it was showcased at this years Geneva Motor Show to huge fanfare.
The specs: 0-100km/h in under 2.5 seconds, 0-200 in under 6.5 seconds an 0-300 in under 14 seconds. Top speed? Nobody actually knows but it's believed to be around 463km/h. It's almost 220kW more powerful than the Veyron – incredible!
All 200 units were sold, at 2.4 million euros a pop, before the first one was even delivered. Pocket change!
