VIDEO: BODY KIT TRANSFORMS NEW CITROEN JUMPER INTO A CLASSIC TYPE H VAN!

The Citroën Type H is one of a handful of utility vehicles that can shine proudly in any automotive collection. The distinctive van has served many owners and customers throughout the European countryside for decades, always carrying out hard work with a good nature that belies its utilitarian nature. The Type H Van holds an endearing charm that only grows stronger with age.

A collaboration of Fabrizio Caselani and David Obendorfer the Type H Van is a tribute to the original designer Flaminio Bertoni and his Citroën HY exactly 70 years ago. The Type H is a contemporary reinvention of the legendary van, packed as a complete car kit and developed on the Citroën Jumper chassis. The Type H 70th Anniversary Van will be produced by FC Automobili, using artisanal methods, as a limited series of 70 units in Italy.

On the aesthetic level, there is not much to be said, the connection with the original Type H is plainly obvious. Characteristic elements of the classic van are captured beautifully, such as the corrugated sheets and prominent grille.
