If you've ever gone to a dealership to buy your next car, you'll know the absolute nonsense way that the salesman will get you to spend money. Most ridiculous part: we ALWAYS fall for it!
You step into the dealership with a settled, rational budget (and you're adamant about sticking to it) and the ideal, well thought out car that you're gonna get. But what do you leave with? A completely different car, an empty wallet and the utter confusion about WHAT ON EARTH JUST FUCKING HAPPENED.
This is because salesmen are clever - even if the things they say are stupid and pretty much always a lie. They bombard you with bullshit numbers, specs and facts that are honestly just stupid to believe and, somehow, they get you to buy what THEY want, not what YOU want!
I mean, who says "people who buy Volkswagen Ups are 743% more likely to be cheated on by a spouse"? A car salesman, that's who.
And even though the entire time you know what he's saying is ABSOLUTE CRAP, you still leave with exactly what he wants. It's madness really.
