VIDEO: MONACO GP – A SHORT HISTORY

It's F1's Monaco Grand Prix on Sunday so we thought we'd tease with a little history lesson.

The first ever race was held in 1929, with only 15 years in its 88-year history that Monaco hasn't had the resounding screams of F1 cars blasting around the track, 11 of those during World War II. It's been a mainstay of the F1 calendar since 1955 and, according to Wikipedia, 'is widely considered to be one of the most important and prestigious automobile races in the world'.
