The Dodge Challenger Hellcat was seemingly built for YouTube drag racing grudge matches. And we will never lose interest in them. Whether the 707-horsepower Mopar muscle is losing badly at the hands of an inexperienced driver, or winning heartily for America and horsepower, it's always a good show.
And that's what we've got here, in the latest Gumbal video putting a Challenger SRT Hellcat up against a whole plethora of tuned challengers.
Mopar fans, take a deep breath. The lowly Volkswagen you see stomping all over the Hellcat isn't your run-of-the-mill GTI. It's a monster-beast built by tuning firm HGP, powered by a twin-turbo 3.6-liter VR6 cranking out 735 horsepower.
It's not the only tuner car to slay the mighty Hellcat in this video. A 700-horsepower Nissan GT-R, a BBM Motorsports Corvette Z06 making 659 horses, and a Camaro ZL1 of unknown provenance all take their turns whupping the Hellcat.
