WE TAKE A TOUR OF THE ULTRA-LUXURY 2020 MCLAREN GT
The McLaren GT is the British carmaker's ultra-luxury grand tourer which, to Doug DeMuro, seems like a stretch for this supercar.
Motoring journalist, Doug DeMuro, takes us on a tour of the 2020 McLaren GT. It's touted as their ultra-luxury grand tourer, but what does that actually mean?
Well, it's got more luggage space than a Toyota Camry, shared between the frunk and the rear hatch. In fact, you can even get a set of golf clubs in the back. The interior is plusher than any of its siblings, with lots of leather and almost no exposed carbon fibre.
There's a sunroof, too, that allows the driver to adjust the amount of light that is allowed into the cabin. There's extra storage in the doors, under the seats, and in the centre console, as well as a Bowers & Wilkins sound system. All very luxurious.
It's also set up to deliver its vast amount of power to the ground with suspension damped for comfort, although you can still select track mode if you're in the mood to be a hooligan.
Doug gives us the lowdown in the video below. Will he agree that the McLaren GT is truly a grand tourer, or is it just another gimmick to get cars off the showroom floor... Best you press play to find out.
