THE WORLD'S FASTEST AUDI R8 TWIN TURBO HAS 2,100HP

Let's be honest, any variant and year model Audi R8 is quick to begin with. You will always get the haters that say the naturally aspirated V8 model is nothing to rave about, but little do they know, it's the modding potential which is exactly what this proud R8 owner has done!

Clearly, a 4.2 litre V8 that produces 424hp and 430 Nm of torque is not nearly enough for Kevin Howeth from Underground Racing. In the drag racing game, nothing is enough or too far fetched to try to gain that extra fraction of a second, but what Kevin managed to do is just mental.

This R8 has what they call the "Underground Racing X" package. It still relies on stock internals but, essentially, every single component gets a race-spec upgrade that includes 2 x 76mm precision turbos, a sequential gearbox and of course a serious engine tune as well.

This Underground Racing Audi R8 produces an incredible 2,100hp but, strangely, the owner has managed to keep this car street legal. It has road tyres, street suspension and even has the factory AC still installed.
