FORD RAPTOR VS 700HP SHELBY F150

The battle of the titans! The Ford Raptor vs 700hp Shelby F150in an epic head-to-head.

Ford is known for one thing, and that is more power! And when we say "Ford" we mean Ford, the American motor company to come straight out of Dearborn, Michigan, United States, who produce cars like the Ford Mustang, Ford Torino, Ford Falcon and, of course, their mighty pick-up trucks!

American pick-up trucks have grown in popularity over the decades, with variants from car manufacturing companies such as Ford, Chevrolet and Dodge. But, their major international competition were the Japanse car manufacturers, such as Toyota, who were able to produce pick-up trucks at a fraction of the cost, not to mention their reputation of being reliable andindestructible, as well as maintaining fantastic resale value.

So what were American pick-up truck manufacturers answers to this? They started making pick-up trucks for the American market. No other car company knew their market quite as well as the Americans, so car Companies such as Dodge, Chevrolet and of course Ford made their pick-up trucks much larger, higher off the ground, wider, louder, more wheels, bigger loading bay, bigger engines and, of course, much faster! And that is how we landed up with pick-up trucks like the Ford F150 Raptor!

But, to a large market, the standard Ford F150 Raptor isn't enough! And that's exactly where companies such as Shelby step in to give the standard Ford a bit of a boost.
