The 2021 Formula 1 calendar has already been interrupted by concerns over Covid-19.

2021 is only a few days old and we have already for some breaking news about potential interruptions and postponements in the 2021 Formula 1 calendar.

Last year, a major shock left fans around the globe stunned as the first race of the season was cancelled. This was after the FIA decided to do the responsible thing around the rising cases and concerns over the Covid-19 pandemic. As a result, the entire 2020 season's calendar was reshuffled, with many races cancelled. Eventually, the first race was held in Austria several months later on the 5th of July 2020.

A few days ago, the 2021 Formula calendar was released, but breaking news has now confirmed that the first race of the season in Australia will most likely get postponed or even cancelled once again due to the second wave of Covid-19.
