BETWEEN THE LINES: A SUBARU DOCUMENTARY

Here's one for our Subaru fans, the official Between The Lines documentary that'll quench even the driest of thirst.

This fascinating journey started when director and cinematographer, Jan Lim, had "idea of capturing the local Subaru car clubs in Southern California," but soon realised the Subaru culture ran much deeper than a few fans on the west coast of the United States.

Soon, he found himself "travelling to Japan and across the United States with his fiancée, dogs, cousin AJ, and friends in the film industry."

Almost entirely self-funded, Between The Lines illustrates the passion that the Subaru family has worldwide. This documentary covers a wide range of topics, from the history of the brand and its rally pedigree to the rivalry with Mitsubishi. 

It also covers interviews with owners, sharing their own stories, how they live with their cars, how they modify them and what their dreams are.

There is so much more in this film, but the passion for these cars is unbelievable, and this documentary is a stunning reflection of a community in love with a brand. 

Even if you're not a fan of Subaru, it's worth watching anyway.
