DDE GET A NEW SUPERCAR

Having more than a handful of supercars in their collection isn't enough, that's why the guys at DDE get themselves a new one.

What would you choose if you had the option of a brand new Chevrolet Corvette C8, a Lamborghini Huracán, a Ferrari GTC4Lusso or a Ferrari Portofino? Well, this is the dilemma the Daily Driven Exotics (DDE) guys have. First World problems, right? Well, it's time for Dave to upgrade, and he has to choose one of them.

The Ferrari GTC4Lusso is the only all-wheel-drive vehicle in the Prancing Horse stable. This comfortable grand tourer also has four useable seats, a big boot, and a thumping 3.9-litre twin-turbocharged V8 with 602 horses under the bonnet. It also does 0-100kph in 3.5-seconds and will reach 320kph. The perfect Ferrari for a family of four, then.

Up next, the Ferrari Portofino, another grand tourer with four seats, but this one has a retractable hardtop. The Portofino sports the same V8 as the Lusso, but only has 592hp on tap. This doesn't distil it's performance, though, matching its sibling to the tee. This car was a significant improvement over its predecessor, the Ferrari California. It also has enough headroom for the 6'2" DDE driver to fit. Bonus!

Swinging for the fences is the brand new, mid-engined Chevrolet Corvette C8. This 6.2-litre V8 sports car punches above its weight, with a factory performance and exhaust upgrade pushing out 495hp. The Stingray will hit 100kph from standstill in under 3-seconds with the optional Z51 package installed. DDE already have one of these in their stable which they're currently modifying, it's going to be a beast.

Lastly, we have a 2015 Lamborghini Huracán. Dave from DDE already has a Gallardo Squadra Corse, and they've owned a Huracán in the past too. But, Dave is a massive fan of the Raging Bull, and it'll be a tough task to talk him out of an upgrade to the 640hp V10 Huracán.

Any way you look at it, the choice is not an easy one. That's why the decision boils down to the luck of the draw, with each key hidden beneath an empty takeaway coffee cup. Classy! So, which did Dave and his crew at DDE choose? Hit play on the video below to find out.
