EVIDENCE TOWARDS APPLE'S CAR DEVELOPMENT

Take a look at these traces of evidence that show that Apple is taking their car development a lot more seriously.

The talk of Apple developing a car has been going on for years on end, with no site of it ever happening officially. But recent evidence shows that it might just be on the cards.

First of all, Apple CEO, Tim Cook, addressed this question directly and, in the usual Apple way, didn't give too much away during an interview. He said: "We are focussing on automomous systems". Very soon thereafter, SUV's with high-tech camera mapping rigs were spotted leaving Apple Park and driving in and around the area for quite some time. This raises speculation on what the technology is for, and the most compelling guess is it's for the development of autonomous cars.

But, a dead giveaway is the fact that over 1,000 Tesla engineers have reportedly left the electric car company and moved to Apple. Furthermore, Apple has also patented a number of new tech and brand names which include adjustable window tint technology, specialised automotive sensors, a new generation electronic car door handle system and even domains such as Apple.car, Apple.cars and Apple.auto.
