Ford is breaking the six-figure barrier with the Ford F-450 Super Duty Limited, which can set you back over $100,000!

Pickup trucks have become more than just a tool for a job and, as a result, have received more features and heftier price tags too. The modern luxury truck features an interior that would rival premium interiors from a decade ago and near a price that challenges luxury cars today.

Trucks have managed to stay south of six-digit price tags – until now.

Ford's ultra-luxe F-450 Super Duty Limited features a standard 360-degree camera, adaptive cruise control, adaptive steering, LED headlights, a panoramic sunroof as well as heated and ventilated leather front seats.

In standard trim, this car starts at $87,100. There is, however, a cheaper and smaller F-250 Super Duty Premium that starts at $80,835, and the F-350 serves as the middle ground at $82,100.

Options like the massaging seats and other luxe features mean driving the F-450 Super Duty Limited to a sticker price of $94,455. Add taxes and licensing fees, and you're looking at over $100,000 worth of 6.7-litre Powerstroke diesel-powered rolling luxury.

Ford isn't the first company pushing out a super-luxe pickup – both Ram and Chevy offer comfortable cruisers that can also tow – but for now, Ford does hold the title for the most expensive.

If your pocketbook allows it, you'll be able to grab one of these rigs soon!
