HOONIGAN'S 1,000HP NATURALLY ASPIRATED 632 BIG BLOCK CHEVROLET CAMARO IS OUT OF THIS WORLD!
Hoonigan's YouTube channel playlist: Build Biology features some incredible builds by the channel hosts, and their latest completed project is their incredible 1,000HP naturally aspirated 632 Big Block V8 Chevrolet Camaro!
Most of the time a project car build will start off more on the lines of getting an old beaten up car that you see potential in and build it back up to showroom condition with adding your creative flair to it and personal customisation taste, however, the guys over at Hoonigan took a completely different approach.
This build started off with an engine. Chevrolet Performance had a brand new crate engine that was coming out and asked the team if they could potentially put it in something cool. And just that simple sentence sparked up an entirely new idea for the team at Hoonigan.
The concept of a crate engine is that you buy the engine, essentially open up the box and slot it into a car and that will make 1,000HP...sounds simple right?
Of course, it's never that easy though...
The guys over at Hoonigan slotted this 632 Chevrolet big block into a 1988 Chevrolet Camaro. The completed project now makes 1,004 HP and 876 lb-ft of torque!
Take a look at the rundown of the completed project in the video at the bottom of this article.
