IS CAR MODDING COMING TO AN END WITH ELECTRIC VEHICLES?

With electric cars becoming increasingly more popular and affordable, will car modding become a thing of the past?

When you were younger, you probably couldn't wait for that moment when you get your first car and start modding it to make it unique and stand out from the rest.

From a cool set of wheels, vinyl wraps and designs, spoilers, bumpers, interior mods and, of course, engine and performance upgrades as well. But, with electric cars on the rise, how will it impact the car modding culture?

This topic was brought up many decades ago already. The biggest one was the rumour that went around about the Nissan GTR R35 prior to its launch, that Nissan purposefully designed it to be un-modifiable. But look at what people are doing to them today!

So, when the electric car revolution finally takes over combustion engines, yes, you'll probably not look at getting a custom exhaust made. Nor will you argue over whether or not a cold air intake increases your performance, but there are still going to be countless ways to modify the performance, visual and cosmetics of your fully electric car.
