IS THE MASERATI MXC PERGUSA THE BEST MANSORY BUILD TO DATE?

Mansory is that mad company responsible for some of the most over-the-top aftermarket body kits and makeovers, even their more subtle options are amazing because of the high quality of the components they produce and the work they carry out. It wasn’t too long ago that the company showed off an upgrade kit for the ultra-cool Maserati MC20, and that one was called the First Edition and it’s a proper stunner. The Maserati with Mansory fiddling features newly enlarged air intakes in the front apron, a specially developed front lip give that works in conjunction with the supplementary flaps to significantly improve the downforce on the front axle, newly widened wheel arches, replacement doors, new side cooling air intakes, an engine hood with cooling vents, a completely new rear wing, and a double diffuser with central brake light all in forged carbon fibre and it sits on newly developed and adapted suspension components and new one-piece, ultra-light forged rims. "Along with Ferrari, Maserati is without a doubt one of the greatest names in automotive history ever," said Kourosh Mansory, CEO and founder of MANSORY Design and Holding GmbH. "With the MC20, an outstanding basic vehicle has now come onto the market that almost imposes itself on the needs and wishes of our customers and at the same time offers many conversion options, so that our first creation "MANSORY FIRST EDITION" will be followed very soon by further derivatives - based on the MC20 and the derived spider." Well, this is that time and the latest Maserati MC20-based creation from the house of Mansory has arrived. The powers that be in the Naming Cool Things Division at Mansory have dubbed the new limited-number elite vehicle overhaul project as the MCX Pergusa. As is the norm with these kinds of things, the upgrade package improves engine performance as well as looks, and there will only be five of these ever made.

The Mansory MCX Pergusa features a full carbon body with enlarged air inlets in the carbon front apron, a specially developed front lip give and additional flap, carbon wheel arches, carbon air scoop with an attached spoiler, carbon side cooling air inlets, a new carbon bonnet, a new carbon rear wing and a newly developed carbon double diffuser with central brake light, and a quad-pipe exhaust system. There are also one-piece, ultra-light forged rims in 21 and 22 inches that are in play and complete the exterior. Inside anything goes, but what you see here is a full orange and black option. There are changes that include glove-soft leather, orange seat belts, black MANSORY logos, footwell and floor mats made of leather that colour-match the rest of the interior. Powering the mid-engined MCX Pergusa is a twin-turbocharged 3.0 litre V6 biturbo mid-engine that now produces 750 hp and 880 Nm on the crankshaft instead of the standard rating of 630 hp and 730 Nm. This fiddling gives the car a top speed of 335 km/h and it can sprint from zero to 100 km/h in as little as 2.6 seconds while peeling your eyeballs off. This is one of those upgrade packages that shows off just how good Mansory is, the styling, the colour options and the interior are absolutely amazing. The Maserati MXC Pergusa is just right, it’s everything a customised supercar should be and more.

Take a look at the YouTube video that shows off pretty much everything you can see in the post above here but in a new fantastic medium known as video.
