MANSORY'S NEW ‘F9XX’ TRANSFORMS SF90 STRADALE INTO FXX LOOKALIKE

When it comes to tuning companies, there are quite literally hundreds and thousands of them the world over. When you decide to take your pride and joy to one of these places for upgrades, you have to do your homework because there are few things that can affect the psyche of a motoring fanatic like someone messing up a job. Besides the money involved, that hit can sometimes be enough to put someone off vehicle modifications for life. This is for the world of normal people with normal cars, but some of the 1%-ers out there who can afford the most exclusive cars money can buy also want to be different, they also want their car to stand out. Sure a horde of supercars parked up together can look cool, but if one of those has been tastefully modified it’s going to attract more attention. Who doesn’t want that?

When it comes to modifying these uber-expensive cars, you need to make double sure that the chosen company can not only do what’s asked for, but they need to do it perfectly, nothing else will do. They also need to have some sort of insurance in place in case they happen to damage one of these cars, not every tuning shop has a spare R1mil to fix errors or accidents. There are still a few companies that fall into this category, and one of the more famous ones is Mansory. Founded in 1989, and cutting their teeth on cars like Rolls Royce, Aston Martin and Bentley, means they’re established enough to play with supercars and hypercars. The Munich-based outfit works magick on Ferrari, Porsche, BMW and also Range Rover - if you can afford them.

In this case, the Mansory crew have created a kit for the Ferrari SF90 Coupé and Spider, and it’s not just focused on aesthetics. The body kit that’s called the F9XX has that name because the look of the SF90 leans more towards that of the iconic Ferrari FXX. The add-on parts are made from the highest quality forged carbon fibre and can be covered in paint or left exposed, which is the look that SXdrv recommends assuming the owner of one of these cars ever has the time to read anything online that doesn’t have to do with stocks and portfolios and sees our advice… The wheels are called YT.5 Air, and they’re just awesome. We’ll no doubt be seeing replicas on the scene being fitted to all manner of VWs soon, that’s how cool they look. They say that there’s also a bit of engine fiddling to go with the aesthetics, and claims are a power figure of 1 100 Hp with 980 Nm of torque and the ability to get to 100 km/h in as little as 2.4-seconds while the top speed shifts to a max of a whopping 355 km/h (220 mph).
