TESLA DISAPPOINTS FANS WITH NEW POLICY
Tesla has introduced a new policy that will cut its used car warranty.
Two weeks ago, Tesla announced that it got rid of its 7-day return policy which allowed a new buyer to return the car if not completely satisfied. The reasoning for the cancellation was that people need to make their decision on the car prior to purchase.
Now, another policy has been implemented by Tesla that cancels its generous warranties on all Tesla used models, which have naturally disappointed Tesla fans.
Used Tesla Model X's and Model S's were issued with a four-year or 50,000 Mile warranty. However, if an owner decides to sell the car, the warranty is immediately cancelled after selling, regardless of how new the car is and whether or not it is under the 50,000-mile mark.
All used Tesla models will now be issued with a significantly reduced warranty time period of just one year and 10,000 miles.
