THE EPIC BMW M4 GT3 EVO RECEIVES A REAL-LIFE, GAMING-INSPIRED LIVERY TO MATCH THE VIRTUAL WORLD.
BMW M is blurring the line between motorsport, gaming and pop culture with a striking new digital collaboration centred around the BMW M4 GT3 EVO. The race car now wears a livery inspired by the iconic costume of Bleach protagonist Ichigo Kurosaki, bringing anime attitude and racing aggression together in one very eye-catching package.
The reveal goes beyond the virtual grid. Alongside the debut of the Bleach-themed BMW M4 GT3 EVO, BMW M Motorsport has also dropped a matching PUMA sneaker from its lifestyle collection. Styled to mirror the race car’s bold design, the sneakers are available in the Fortnite Shop, extending the collaboration from the screen to the street.
Sandra Wittemer, Head of BMW Welt, says the project represents a fresh take on how BMW M can be experienced. “With this very special BMW M4 GT3 EVO, we are bringing the fascination of motorsport, digital pop culture and design together in a unique way,” she explains. “The livery inspired by Bleach shows just how creatively and diversely BMW M can be interpreted.”
What makes the collaboration particularly compelling is that it doesn’t live only in the digital realm. While the car has already made waves in virtual environments like Fortnite and Rocket League, the BMW M4 GT3 EVO will also be displayed at BMW Welt, giving fans the rare chance to experience a gaming-inspired race car in the real world.
