THE FERRARI 296 SPECIALE IN PILOTI FERRARI CONFIGURATION IS A STUNNER OF AN ITALIAN WORK OF ART.

Just ahead of the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans, Ferrari pulled the covers off something truly special – the 296 Speciale Piloti Ferrari, a bespoke Tailor Made creation designed to celebrate the brand’s dominant return to endurance racing. Revealed at the iconic Circuit de la Sarthe, this exclusive spec pays tribute to Ferrari’s back-to-back Le Mans victories in 2023 and 2024 with the 499P Hypercar and is reserved only for the brand’s most elite clientele — those actively involved in Ferrari’s official motorsport programs. Offered in four racing-infused shades — Rosso Scuderia, Blu Tour De France, Nero Daytona, and Argento Nürburgring — the car features a striking Giallo Modena livery inspired by the 499P, complete with a hand-painted WEC logo, Italian flag accents, and a personalised racing number on the front bumper. The debut car at Le Mans proudly wore #51, the number carried to victory in 2023 by Alessandro Pier Guidi, James Calado, and Antonio Giovinazzi. Inside, it’s all about track-focused flair, with black Alcantara® racing seats, suit-grade fireproof inserts, carbon-fibre trim stamped with the owner’s chosen number, and exclusive carbon plaques to mark this as no ordinary Ferrari.

Underneath the dramatic bodywork, the 296 Speciale is a sharpened, lightened, and aerodynamically enhanced evolution of the 296 GTB. Its plug-in hybrid powertrain — a 120-degree twin-turbo V6 paired with an electric motor — belts out a staggering 880 cv, making it one of the most potent mid-engined Ferraris ever built. Upgrades include Formula 1-derived internals, a recalibrated 8-speed DCT with lightning-quick shifts, and new software that unleashes full boost during intense laps. Downforce is up 20% over the GTB thanks to radical aero elements like suspended splitters, gamma-style rear wings, and an exaggerated rear diffuser. It’s all been meticulously honed to deliver more grip, better balance, and razor-sharp responses on track. This Speciale isn’t just a tribute – it’s a rolling, roaring declaration that Ferrari’s racing heart is beating harder than ever. As part of the Ferrari Tailor Made programme, each example becomes a canvas for motorsport passion, limited only by the imagination of the owner and the boundless craftsmanship of Maranello’s finest.
