THE MOST INSANE 1-OWNER COLLECTION OF ORANGE CARS HEADS TO AUCTION IN MIAMI - ORANGE YOU GLAD WE SHOWED YOU?
A while back, we brought you a wild collection of custom orange Aston Martins that hit the auction block in the UK - eight examples, all drenched in a bespoke shade of tangerine fury. That was already something special. But now, we’ve found something even juicier: an entire one-owner, orange-only collection of modern performance icons heading to auction. If the previous Aston collection was a citrus starter, this is the full-on orange buffet. This radiant fleet of 14 brightly painted exotics and muscle monsters is heading under the hammer with Bonhams Cars at the 2025 Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix on Saturday, May 3. Every car in the lineup wears a unique shade of orange, and every single one is offered at no reserve. That means some lucky bidders are going home with a whole lot of speed and not a drop of subtlety. Brands represented include Ferrari, Bentley, Aston Martin, Ford, Lamborghini, and more - and yes, they're all low-mileage, collector-grade weapons. Taking centre stage is the 2019 Ford GT Carbon Series, a track-focused, limited-edition monster with just 4,092 miles on the clock. One of just 50 made globally, and the only one finished in one-off Epic Orange, a shade that’s now locked down and never to be repeated. Developed directly from Ford’s Le Mans-winning race car, this 348 km/h, twin-turbo V6 hypercar is expected to fetch R14,000,000 to R19,000,000. That’s a lot of Vitamin C - but it’s also one of the most collectable modern Fords in existence. Then there’s a proper piece of American muscle legend - the 1970 Plymouth ‘Hemi’ Superbird Coupe, one of just 135 R-Code Hemi cars ever built. Wearing its original Hi-Impact Vitamin C paint over a pearl white interior, this immaculate, numbers-matching example was restored to concours-winning standards and comes with a full paper trail. Expect it to hammer down somewhere between R7,500,000 and R11,000,000.
The orange madness continues with a 2023 Aston Martin DBS 770 Ultimate Volante, one of just 199 ever made, estimated between R5,700,000 and R6,600,000. This open-top V12 brute makes 558 kW, tops out at over 320 km/h, and has done just 64 miles since new. It’s dripping in nearly $70,000 of factory options, making it one of the most desirable modern Astons available. Next up, something for the raging bull crowd - a 2022 Lamborghini Huracán in a special-order Arancio hue with only 214 miles. With its old-school naturally aspirated V10, rear-wheel drive chassis, and ultra-lightweight spec, this Raging Bull is estimated between R6,600,000 and R8,500,000.
The rest of the Orange Dream Team includes:
2021 Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series Coupe – R5,200,000 to R6,100,000
2023 Bentley Continental GTC Speed 12 – R3,800,000 to R5,200,000
2023 Lamborghini Urus Performante – R3,800,000 to R4,700,000
2022 Acura NSX Type-S – R4,200,000 to R5,200,000
2016 Dodge Viper ACR Coupe (just 39 miles!) – R5,200,000 to R6,100,000
2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 (10 miles!) – R1,900,000 to R2,800,000
2023 Ford F-150 Raptor R – R1,900,000 to R2,800,000
2023 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Convertible (61 miles) – R1,900,000 to R2,600,000
2016 Porsche 911 GT3 RS (991-gen) – R2,800,000 to R3,800,000
2014 Ferrari 458 Italia – R3,200,000 to R4,100,000
So if you ever win the lottery and want to keep it low-key… this is not the collection for you. But if you want to paint the town orange - literally - you'd better book your ticket to Miami.
Take a look at the YouTube video that shows off what at least one of these orange cars looks like in the metal - the Viper ACR in Stryker Orange, the same as the one in the auction, but it's likely a different one because the auction car features a mere 67.5 km on the odometer: 2016 Dodge Viper ACR with 4K miles (RARE STRYKER ORANGE PAINT) | BJ Motors
