THE NEW BENTLEY BENTAYGA SPEED IS THE EPITOME OF A LUXURY SUV, COMPLETE WITH 478 KW ON TAP.

The new Bentley Bentayga Speed isn’t here to play nice. It’s the most powerful, most focused, and most unapologetically dynamic Bentley SUV ever built, outgunning even the mighty W12 that came before it. Under the bonnet lives a new twin-turbocharged 4.0-litre V8 that kicks out a monstrous 478 kW of power with a rather stupendous 850 Nm of torque. That’s enough grunt to haul this luxury beast from 0 - 100 km/h in around 3.4 seconds, and on to a massive top speed of 310 km/h. This is no polite countryside cruiser - it’s Bentley’s thunderous mic drop in the ultra-luxury performance SUV space. But it’s not just about brutal straight-line speed. Bentley’s engineers have completely reworked the chassis setup, introducing an enhanced SPORT mode and a new ESC Dynamic setting that dials up the driver engagement. Want tail-out, throttle-steered heroics in a Bentley SUV? You’ve got it. Torque vectoring by the brakes sharpens corner entry, while new all-wheel steering boosts agility at low speeds and stability at high ones. There's even Launch Control - a Bentayga first - because why the hell not? If you really want to get loud, the standard Sports exhaust brings a proper V8 soundtrack to the party, complete with signature twin elliptical tips. For those who want to take it to eleven, the optional titanium Akrapovič system replaces those with quad tailpipes and unleashes a full symphony of snarling, crackling fury that’ll make supercar owners take notice.

And then there’s the stopping power. Optional carbon ceramic brakes - the largest ever fitted to a Bentley - bring serious deceleration and unlock the full potential of ESC Dynamic, allowing controlled power slides and properly engaging on-limit handling. Paint the calipers in one of seven colours and match them to bespoke 23-inch Speed wheels (available only when the carbon ceramics are optioned) and you’ve got presence to match the performance. Visually, the Speed treatment doesn’t shout, but it growls with purpose. There’s dark-tint brightware, Speed badges on the front doors, unique 22-inch wheels (with silver or dark tint finish), smoked headlamps and tail lights, and an optional gloss or satin black roof that extends to the rear spoiler. It’s subtle aggression at its finest - refined brutality in full flight. The interior design of the Bentayga Speed reflects its singular performance focus. Standard features include the Speed-specific driver information display, Speed badging to the passenger fascia and treadplates, and Speed embroidered emblem on the seat uppers. The familiar Bentley ‘bullseye’ air vents, organ stops, and central air vents can be finished in dark tint as well as the standard chrome. Seat shoulder panels, door inners and backboard (four-seat models) all feature a new Precision Diamond quilt design. For the upholstery, the Speed colour split features a darker secondary hide as the predominant colour, relieved by flashes of the main hide colour on seat outers, door and the instrument panel side cheeks. This thing is proper!
