THE STUNNING DONKERVOORT P24 RS FEATURES 565 KW PER TON - AND IT'S AN ABSOLUTE STUNNER!

The Donkervoort P24 RS is the latest weapon to roll out of Lelystad, and it follows the brand’s philosophy with almost stubborn devotion. No excess. No compromise. No unnecessary grams. Just speed, feel and a relentless focus on the driver. Weighing in at just 780 kg, the P24 RS sits comfortably below the one-ton barrier while meeting modern safety and emissions regulations. It achieves this with turbocharging, intercooling and Donkervoort’s Ex-Core carbon fibre innovations, delivering a weight figure that most modern supercars can only stare at in disbelief. At its heart is an all-new Power To Choose (PTC) 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6, producing up to 441 kW and making the P24 RS the only road-going 600 hp supercar under 1,000 kg. True to its name, the PTC system allows drivers to select between 400, 500 or 600 hp, paired with adjustable traction control to manage a towering 800 Nm of torque.

Visually, the P24 RS stays true to Donkervoort tradition. The long-nose, short-tail stance and exposed front wheel wings help drivers place the car precisely and read suspension movement mid-corner. Industry-first swing-out headlights add a dramatic new design signature, while an optional removable aero kit allows the car to be sharpened further for track use. Underneath, the chassis is stiffer and safer than before. Its hybrid structure of alloy tubing and structural Ex-Core carbon fibre is reinforced around the engine bay, windscreen frame and front crash structure. An industry-first Fort-Ex front subframe, weighing just 9 kg, is formed as a single Ex-Core carbon fibre piece. Designed like a World Endurance Championship front clip, the Fort-Ex module integrates carbon-fibre crash cones, front suspension, brakes, aero elements and the cooling package. The result is greater suspension accuracy, sharper handling and ultra-low mass.

Suspension is handled by an evolved Tractive active damper system, offering multiple stiffness settings and an optional hydraulic ride-height system that raises or lowers the car at the push of a button. Double wishbones up front and a multi-link rear layout feature anti-dive and anti-squat geometry for maximum control. Braking comes from AP Racing four-piston fixed calipers clamping semi-floating ventilated discs, with optional carbon-ceramic brakes saving 2.1 kg per corner and delivering up to 1.3G of braking force. Tyres are bespoke Nankang CR-S units, wrapped around custom alloy wheels in 235/40 R18 front and 275/35 R19 rear sizes. For those ticking the options list, Donkervoort also offers carbon fibre wheels, shaving even more mass where it matters most. Just an FYI, the carbon wheels are made in Randburg at BlackStone Tec - yup, they’re South African!

Inside, the P24 RS balances focus with surprising usability. The cabin accommodates drivers up to 2.05 metres tall, even with the removable Twin Targa carbon-fibre roof fitted, and offers a very un-supercar-like 298 litres of luggage space. Controls are deliberately tactile. While a digital instrument cluster and optional iPad Mini multimedia mount handle information and infotainment, the most important functions rely on physical buttons and dials. The upgraded centre console houses the electric handbrake, PTC engine controls, traction and suspension dials, and a new armrest with hidden storage. A removable steering wheel integrates lighting, indicators, wipers, horn, pass button and menu controls, keeping the driver’s hands where they belong. Lightweight Recaro seats and road-and-race-approved six-point harnesses complete the interior. The Twin Targa roof consists of two removable carbon-fibre panels flanking a central Ex-Core carbon-fibre bar. Each panel incorporates a small flick-up spoiler for high-speed stability and noise reduction, and each can be removed via three manual latches.

“The P24 RS is not about horsepower or lap times,” says Donkervoort. “It’s about happiness, connection and forgetting the world outside the cockpit. Its agility is a constant reminder that no other supercar is worth the weight.”
