THE TAILOR MADE FERRARI ROMA SPIDER IS EXCLUSIVITY AT IT'S FINEST.

Ferrari’s Tailor Made department has outdone itself with a truly unique edition of the Ferrari Roma Spider. This bespoke beauty is now taking centre stage at the Enzo Ferrari Museum in Modena, headlining the ‘Ferrari One of a Kind’ exhibition – a celebration of personalised masterpieces straight from Maranello. This Roma Spider isn't just about looks; it's a testament to Ferrari’s innovative approach to design and sustainability. Take the seats, for instance – crafted with leather-wrapped fabric and hand-stitched with thread made from recycled tyres. Ferrari has even ventured into laser techniques for engraving aluminium body parts, with the front wing proudly displaying a shield etched in aluminium. And it doesn’t stop there. The hood? It’s emblazoned with a compass rose and Maranello’s exact coordinates – because this car knows where it’s from. Ferrari’s sustainability game is strong with this one. They’ve incorporated recycled aluminium from their foundry into key components of the 620 hp twin-turbo V8 engine, minimising waste without compromising power. Meanwhile, the cabin features chrome-free Nappa leather and wood sourced responsibly for the tonneau cover and rear floor. And as if that’s not enough, the centre console is made from recycled sand used in Ferrari’s foundry – a quirky yet brilliant nod to the brand’s innovative recycling efforts. Collaborating with Montblanc, Ferrari has pushed the boundaries even further, creating a special edition of the Meisterstück writing instrument. This isn’t just any pen – it’s finished in the same Oro Mida shade chosen by Ferrari’s Styling Centre, featuring a hand-worked Au750 solid gold nib with a compass motif, all wrapped in platinum-coated elegance. It’s more than just a pen; it’s a tribute to the journey theme that threads through this entire project.

The Meisterstück even comes with a bespoke logbook, clad in the same Rosso Bologna and Pelle Metalizzata Oro Mida leather as the Roma Spider’s interior. Its cover, like the car’s bonnet, is engraved with the coordinates of Maranello, cementing the bond between car and pen – a duo designed to inspire adventurers at heart. This Ferrari Roma Spider marks an exciting new chapter in Ferrari’s personalization journey. Visitors at the Enzo Ferrari Museum can now experience the meticulous craftsmanship and bold materials that define the Tailor Made program, with the Roma Spider taking pride of place until February 2025. With its retractable soft top – a feature making a comeback after 54 years since the 365 GTS4 – the Roma Spider embodies the spirit of the high-flying, pleasure-seeking Italian lifestyle of the '50s and '60s. Add the 620 cv twin-turbo V8, the award-winning International Engine of the Year, and an 8-speed DCT gearbox, and you’ve got a car that delivers high-octane thrills in a truly timeless package. While we’re clearly not the target market for a car like this, we can appreciate everything that’s gone into this special Ferrari. We especially love the way classic materials are used in a supercar, wood is usually reserved for the more luxurious models that cart people around while they sit in the back and a driver does the transport duties. The details on this Roma Spider are absolutely amazing, Ferrari Tailor Made is the best way for clients to personalise their Ferrari, and there are even different levels of personalisation that have almost endless options - Classica, Inedita and Scuderia collections that guide clients within a world of exclusivity, elegance and unique quality.
