VIDEO: SABINE SCHMITZ CLEANS UP AT NURBURGRING

You may know her as the pretty, young German lady who nearly beat Jeremy Clarkson, who was driving a Jag, around the Nurburgring – in a panel van.

In this clip, she gives us a lesson in skill as she decimates her fellow competitors in a single lap, overtaking dozens of cars as she works her way from the back of the grid.

It is simply hypnotic.

Driving a Frikadelli Racing Team Porsche 911 GT3 R, she bombs down the straights and clips the apex of each bend, threading her way to the front of the pack in this 8-minute spectacular of man-, or in this case, lady-and-machine. 

So, sit back and enjoy. It's almost like watching a pro playing Gran Turismo in easy mode.
