VIDEO: THE UPDATED VW I.D CROZZ CONCEPT DRIVERLESS ELECTRIC CAR HEADING TO FRANKFURT!
Volkswagen is expected to debut its updated version of the I.D Crozz at the Frankfurt Motor Show this year. The new version brings autonomous, electric technology and will be displayed at the IAA.
From the teaser video below, we can see that the updated model will feature a bold red look and slightly refined body curves. In addition, the LED headlights now come with updated graphics and the car's logo is illuminated presumably when it starts.
The car's badge is flanked on both sides by a strip that leads into the headlights and also lights up. On the whole, the changes to the design are subtle. But the car is still undeniably good looking!
Futuristic electric cars that have been debuted recently tend to look completely over the top and outlandish... So the I.D Crozz is possibly the best looking the in I.D line-up!
Although technical specifications have not been confirmed for the updated version, they will likely be similar to specs seen on the previous model, which had two electric motors that combined to produce 302 bhp, which allowed a top speed of 112 mph.
Powering the car will be batteries and electric power which can achieve an excess of 300 miles! In addition, the battery will be recharged to 80% capacity in just 30 minutes from a rapid charger.
The U.D Crozz is built on the same Modular Electrification Toolkit platform as the Buzz and I.D as VW says the platform allows for more efficient and less expensive vehicles.
We can expect to see the reveal on 12th September 2017 at the Frankfurt Motor Show, but for now, watch the video for a sneak peak!
