WHAT FORD V FERRARI GOT RIGHT AND WRONG

Here are a few things the feature film, Ford V Ferrari, got right, and a few things they got wrong as well.

2019's Ford V Ferrari was, without a doubt, a fantastic historical feature film, with a brilliant cast such as Matt Damon and Christian Bale.

The storyline was about the amalgamation of racecar designer, Carroll Shelby, talented British racecar driver, Ken Miles, and the Ford Motor Company. Together, they developed and built the legendary Ford GT40, which they would use to take on the Italian supercar manufacturer, Ferrari, at the 24 Hours of Le Mans

But, as most movies based on history go, there are some points that were based on fact and some that are purely fictional, which aid in the story-telling process of a two-and-a-half-hour feature film. But, regardless of that, we can all agree that the Ford V Ferrari movie gave automotive enthusiasts a greater understanding of the history of Carroll Shelby, Ken Miles and the Ford Motor Company.
