What's new in the 2021 Tesla Model S.
Tesla has just dropped a bombshell on the Tesla Model S with some fresh new features and looks!
The original Tesla Model S has been around for almost a decade now, with a pretty much unchanged design, so it makes sense that the Model S should receive a bit of a makeover. And that's exactly what it got!
The overall shape and look remain very similar to the previous version, aside from a side vent and back trimming that replaces the outdated chrome.
Where you'll visually notice a huge difference is inside! The steering wheel receives a completely new ergonomic, and resembles more of an aeroplane steering wheel than a car one. It's had its top chopped off and has no levers at all to change gear, wipers or indicators. Instead, the wheel itself features all those controls.
Furthermore, there is no more gear selector. The new Tesla Model S will guess which gear you need to be in, whether it's drive or reverse, based on your surroundings, and has a manual override in the menu of the touch display.
