A FERRARI 296 WITH NOVITEC'S N-LARGO PACKAGE IS RIDICULOUS. RIDICULOUSLY AWESOME!
NOVITEC, the world-renowned specialist in refining Maranello’s finest, presents the N-LARGO, a ridiculously awesome widebody version of the Ferrari 296 GTB. Limited to just 15 exclusive units, this high-performance marvel is designed by Vittorio Strosek, combining striking aesthetics with aerodynamic excellence. Crafted from carbon fibre, the N-LARGO bodywork not only enhances the visual appeal but also contributes to the car’s performance on the road, that’s real aero. Complementing this broader look are custom high-tech wheels, developed in collaboration with well-known wheel manufacturer Vossen. These bespoke NOVITEC NF11 NL rims are available in a staggered setup, with 21-inch wheels at the front and 22-inch wheels at the rear, adding to the car’s dynamic wedge shape. Measuring an imposing 208 centimetres at the rear, the N-LARGO is 12 centimetres wider than the standard Ferrari 296 GTB. The newly designed quarter panels, with precisely fitted inner fenders, create space for the custom NOVITEC NF11 NL wheels. These wheels forged with cutting-edge technology and CNC machining, feature an extremely concave design with five intricate twin spokes extending to the outer rim. At the front, the N-LARGO fenders add six centimetres to the car’s width, further accentuating its hourglass silhouette. The 21-inch wheels at the front complete the aggressive look. Beyond aesthetics, the design of the front and rear fenders also serves a functional purpose. The front fenders feature integrated gill-like slits to quickly vent air heated by the brakes, while the rear fenders have larger ventilation openings for the engine bay and air ducts for brake cooling. These components, along with other elements, are also available in an exposed carbon finish for an even sportier appearance. The N-LARGO’s sleek profile is further enhanced by custom rocker panels that ensure smooth airflow between the widened front and rear fenders. Additional features like NOVITEC’s exposed-carbon side mirrors add to the car’s dynamic appeal. The N-LARGO’s front fascia seamlessly integrates with the wider fenders, contributing to the car’s stability at high speeds. The exposed-carbon front lip spoiler works in harmony with the custom trunk lid, which features integrated air ducts to generate additional downforce on the front axle.
At the rear, NOVITEC offers several options to suit different tastes. The N-LARGO rear wing and diffuser enhance the car’s aerodynamic performance, while customers can also choose an exposed-carbon cover for the retractable stock rear wing or opt for a NOVITEC ducktail spoiler. Exposed carbon panels in the engine bay complete the race-inspired look. To further refine the car’s handling, NOVITEC lowers the N-LARGO’s ride height by 35 millimetres with specialized sports springs. For those concerned about navigating steep ramps or speed bumps, an optional front lift system allows the front axle to be raised by 40 millimetres at the touch of a button, reverting automatically at speeds over 80 km/h. The N-LARGO isn’t just about looks; it’s also about performance. NOVITEC has equipped the Ferrari 296 GTB with high-flow turbo inlets, 100-cell metal catalysts, and a high-performance exhaust system, all of which contribute to an additional 38 horsepower, bringing the total output to 638 kW (868 hp). The twin-turbo V6’s exhaust system, identifiable by its 102-millimeter tailpipes, is available in stainless steel or ultra-light INCONEL, a high-tech alloy used in Formula 1. Customers can choose from various exhaust versions, including options with a carbon ring or 999 fine gold plating for an even more striking appearance. The exhaust note can be adjusted from the cockpit, thanks to the version with actively controlled butterfly valves. All exhaust systems are wrapped in high-temperature insulation to manage heat in the engine bay, ensuring optimal performance. NOVITEC offers N-LARGO owners the opportunity to create their dream car’s interior, with exclusive customization options available in any colour and upholstery design. Whether it’s leather, Alcantara, or a combination of materials, each interior is crafted to reflect the owner’s personal style, making each N-LARGO truly one of a kind.
