ASTON MARTIN DBX 707 VS LAMBORGHINI URUS - DRAG RACE

The brand new Ason Martin DBX 707 has arrived and Aston Martin claim that it is the fastest SUV on the planet, but just how does it hold up against the mighty Lamborghini Urus in a drag race?

Aston Martin has without a doubt been around for a seriously long time. The brand was founded in 1913 and has since then unveiled some of the finest sports cars known to man. Although it has a stigma of being a part of "British engineering" they have since proven themselves and have grown to be one of the greats.

Seeing that the world has taken a serious liking to SUVs, Aston Martin has now too designed and developed an SUV offering as well as its competitors.

Aston Martin's answer to the SUV market is the top of the line DBX 707 which claims to be the fastest and most powerful SUV on the planet that you can buy from the dealership.

But that is a big claim considering what else is out there such as Lamborghini who makes an incredible SUV, the Urus. But just how well do the two rivals compare?

Well, first of all, the Aston Martin DBX 707 has an incredible 707 HP and a hypercar-like 900 Nm of torque from its 4.0 litre twin-turbo V8 engine. It weighs in at 2,245 KG which is indeed heavier than the Lamborghini Urus, has an all-wheel drive and costs around £10,000 more than the Lamborghini Urus at £189,000.

The Lamborghini, on the other hand, makes 650 HP and 850 Nm of torque from its 4.0 litre twin-turbo V8 engine. Is lighter than the Aston Martin DBX 707 at 2,220 KG, has an all-wheel-drive system and costs a slightly cheaper £179,000.
